Located on a small hill just above the foot of the Root River Bike Trail in lovely Lanesboro, Minnesota is Casa Verde. Here at Casa Verde the running themes are our house is your house and think green.
Built in 1893, this little Victorian house has seen many changes. The newest owners Catherine Glynn & Jeremy van Meter (resident company members at the Commonweal Theatre Company) are taking great care in restoring this little gem!

We only rent one suite for two people.So you are our only guests!
Breakfast is a casual continental affair. Sleep as late as you want & serve yourself fresh organic fruit & yogurt & granola. Delicious pastries made either by us, or locally at The Pastry Shoppe. And enjoy fair trade French press organic coffee. Or, enjoy a cup of Newman's Own organic blend right in your room any time. And this year we are offering fresh juice--so if you have hankering for a special blend let us know and we'll be sure to pick up the right fruit at the Oneota Co-op or the local Farmer's market before you arrive.
Want a private Pilates mat or reformer session? Schedule it with Catherine for an additional fee of $35.00 as a great way to wake yourself up or relieve stress.
Longing to see a show at the Commonweal? Let us know and we will make your reservation for you and supply you with a discount and reserved seats!
